Let’s review the iMovie HD Way:

1) Take iMovie ’08
2) Replace with iMovie HD
3) Integrate iMovie ’08 features into next version

Here’s how Apple can fix the Leopard Firewall:

1) Take Tiger Firewall
2) Release to Leopard Users
3) Slipstream into future builds

Leopard’s firewall takes steps back for no good reason… Tiger’s firewall allows for port manipulation and makes things… easy. Leopard takes an application-only, TCP-only route that I can’t think of a good reason for. Leopard, like iLife, is reinventing the wheel on this… and it needs to go back to the original design.
