    Hello everybody,
You forgot the weirdest thing of all!!
The software wouldn’t let s scan any more. Everywhere on the net you can find complaining people who lost the scan possibility but complete silence for solutions. Maybe there is a hidden update too for this option??

I can install the HP AiO 5610 using a usb but if I install with airport express – there is no driver – not even an option for the AiO 4.0.1

For those who are having trouble scanning with their HP AiO machines:

I had that problem yesterday. The HP printer/scanner/copier/fax was connected to an Apple Time Capsule via Ethernet. I could print wirelessly but not scan, always getting an error from HP along the lines of “could not connect to the AiO.” Interestingly, if I pulled up a web page with the AiO’s IP address I could click a “scan” button on the page and make it work. Hmmm.

I was able to trace the problem to an Airport update. I was on 7.4.1. 7.4.2 did not solve the problem but rolling back to 7.3.2 did. Shocking. I know that the 7.4.1 and 7.4.2 Airport updates were Apple’s, so technically they’re the ones who broke things, but I still blame HP for drivers that are so shaky that an Airport update can break them.
