Anyone who has one of these units found out a WEEK AGO that there was a software update.

You did us no big favor.

Not all units were notified. There was an over-the-air notification using the traffic data system. But, if your unit was out of the area or wasn’t registered… you wouldn’t have gotten that message.

Anyone who purchased a Navigon and had read ANY blog regarding the software knew for 3 months that a free upgrade was coming at the end of January. All they had to do was check the Navigon website the last week of Jan/first week of Feb.

Also, it said to get any updates you needed to register, so why would anyone not register?

Sorry that you think the entire world is glued to Navigon blogs… and Navigon’s web site. In the real world, most people haven’t done either recently.

How about you shut the fuck up, and go do something useful Joe.. This guy is trying to help ppl, and you obviously are only trying to annoy him, and anyone else reading your non constructive arguments… and I for one, did NOT register my SHIT 7210 Navigon, as I was probably busy doing something else that I felt was more important at the time.

BTW, this Navigon 7210SD The worst piece of useless bug-filled electronic crap I EVER bought… (although the old one I had 3000 something? was pretty damn close).

I had it “repaired” twice at Navigon, which was more trouble, than tatooing the thigh of the pope, and I ended up buying the cheapest Mio I could find, and it worked PERFECTLY !
