Twitter? Thanks, but no thanks…

I really don’t get the big fuss about Twitter. If I want to send myself a shopping list, it gets emailed (or “noted”, as Apple Mail now does so elegantly). If I want to send a quick blast out to some people… again, email (or SMS a distant second).

If I want to shout out a blurb to the world… I’m going to do it right here. If it’s not well-written enough to be put here, I probably shouldn’t be writing it. Perhaps that’s too high a standard, but it’s one I intend to keep.

So, with that in mind, here’s a quick Black Friday blurb I sent out to some asking me “how things were going”. My first reply was “well, I’m in Radio Shack…”, which is rather self-explanatory, but here goes the revised reply:

12 hours of shopping. 6 square feet of stuff. 3 gallons of gas. 1 credit card maxed out on rebates. And I have not yet begun to fight…
