    AgX, this article was written a half-year ago. At the time, it wasn’t even clear when Windows 7 was going to launch.

    I would say though that the subsequent launch of the Windows 7 Public Beta, only strengthens my original position.

    I agree Christopher, especially as seeing that windows 7 is adding more and more Mac-like features (does the superbar remind you of the dock, by any chance?)

    1. There is nothing to compete with vista ;P
    2. I have noticed all of these mac-like features that have popped up in the Windows (Vista, 7) OS’s. Does the spinny loady symbol remind you of anything? How about the round/smooth interfaces? What about the new thing in Windows 7 where it stops asking you if you *really* want to open an application? Apple is successful because of their originality (and *cough* Steve Jobs), and this is why Microsoft will not be successful in the long-run. Thanks Mr. Gates, but no thanks.
