Best Friday Deal: Office 2004 & 2008 for Mac – $32 AR

Microsoft’s Mac team is rolling out what they call the “Best. Friday. Deal.”

Considering the lukewarm Black Friday deals (and yes, I will keep calling them that at every opportunity)… they may be right.

Friday (that’s today in about 90 minutes)… you can get Office 2004 for Mac, Student & Teacher Edition for only $32 after a $100 Microsoft rebate. Yes, good deal, but it doesn’t stop there.

You can combine it with the existing offer to upgrade to 2008 for only $6.99, and they will automatically cross-grade you to the Office 2008 Special Media Edition (which adds Exchange, Automator, and Expression Media) for only $6.99 in processing fees.

And, if you’re wondering, the $100 rebate clearly says that you can combine it with the 2008 free upgrade offer. So, no worries there.

Bottom Line:

1) Order Office 2004 Student & Teacher from Amazon.com at 12:00 Pacific (and not before then)
2) Mail in this rebate form with both a copy of your receipt, and the front page of the manual
3) Mail in this rebate form with the original box top. You can also expedite this form by submitting it online and then mailing in the form.

Needless to say, many will be getting Office 2004+2008 under their Christmas trees.
