Price Protectr Update Adds a Calendar

One of my big gripes with Price Protectr (okay, fine, I don’t have any big gripes… it’s a small one), is that it didn’t let you go back in time and add a purchase that you made, say, four of five days ago.

True, Price Protectr lets you chose a different date, but the options were limited to 1, 2, 3, or 7 days ago. That was it… until now.

Now, Price Protectr pops up with a simple calendar that lets you peg the exact date you made purchases. This way, you’ll be given constant price protection against your purchases, for exactly how long you’re guaranteed a simple price match.

With that in mind, I’d posit my next suggestion to Price Protectr: attach the price protection protocol in the email alert. When a price drops, many don’t know what to do to redeem the price match. Price Protectr does have a nice web page detailing each of the policies… but I know most of the people I point to the site never see it.

They would, however, see such information if it was in a nice email letting them know that they were owed some free money.
