Well, they did ask Engadget to take that number down. It might be a marketing ploy to spread the news better, but still… 80,000 copies x $100 = $800,000 so far.
Not bad considering that Woot sells 4.3-inch GPS units for just $15 more, including shipping. And yes, today’s Woot offering is exactly that… made by TomTom.
